Masai Warrior

A personal illustration

A group of Masai women decided to steer away from normal traditions and like the greek mythology's 'Amazons', train a female-only group of warriors. Before young women transition into being real warriors they have to kill a lion. This tradition starts with wearing a ceremonial armour that represents adulthood.
The young woman here is quietly getting mentally prepared for the hunt.
